Some 3,052 housing units are still being offered by the Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF or Pag-IBIG Fund) to interested buyers at 30 per cent discount until October 14 to grant numerous requests to extend the program, Vice President and Pag-IBIG Board chair Jejomar C. Binay said.
Binay said Pag-IBIG has decided to extend its program giving substantial discounts on the agency’s acquired assets following the successful conduct of the 6th Housing Fair last September 30 to October 2.
“We have received numerous requests from members for us to extend the program and we are doing it to give them the opportunity to finally own their own homes,” Binay said.
HDMF Chief Executive Officer, Atty. Darlene Marie B. Berberabe added that this is the Fund’s way of bringing more housing opportunities to its members.
“They can enjoy easy-payment terms or big discounts. Qualified members may even avail themselves of housing loans to buy the properties,” the CEO said.
There are 3,052 unoccupied acquired housing units up for sale in the Caloocan, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela and Quezon City areas. Likewise, properties in the nearby provinces of Rizal, Pampanga, Bulacan, Batangas, Cavite and Laguna are also available.
To view the complete list of the properties for sale, interested buyers may visit the HDMF website, www.pagibigfund.gov.ph, and click on “Property Finder”.
